If I could write a letter to me!

So I have read a few blogs that have wrote letters to them self...Kind of like the Brad Paisley song. So here I am jumping on the bandwagon!


Age 8: Your mom is going to get remarried this year. The man she is marrying will become the biggest role model in your life. I know at this time it is difficult to see that. But your mom and dad are not going to get back together and trust me, this is one of the best things that is ever going to happen for you and your family!

Age 9: You are going to become a big sister this year. I know you loved being the baby and you are a little uncomfortable with giving up this title, but have no fear you are always going to be the baby girl! Your twin brothers are going to become some of the closest people in your life!

Age 12: This is the year where you finally become "a woman" You have been praying for this moment since your best friend Samantha got her first period. You will soon learn that this monthly friend is not as great as you had hoped! Along with this milestone you will welcome another brother into this world. His name is McCallister, and he is the most like you out of all of your siblings. You will come to think of him as if he was yours at times!

Age 14: You will have your first kiss this year. It is with a boy who you go out with for 3 weeks and get bored of, this is not a big loss! Later this year you will start high school. This is a pretty big change going to an all girl school. But trust me, you will learn to love it there and so savor each moment!!! You get your first job as a hostess for a short 6 months. This job is one of the worst jobs you will ever have!

Age 16: This is a huge year for you. You will lose your grandma who you develop a close relationship in her last 9 months of life, since she will move in with your family from the day of her diagnosis to the day of her death. You will learn how precious time is and not to take your family members for granted. Death ends a life not a relationship! A few months after her death you will begin your first serious relationship. This will be considered your first love, you will learn a lot from this relationship, but know that he is not "the one."

Age 18: This year you are beginning school at UofL, you are scared to death about going to college especially since you get your license a month before school starts. Don't worry you will get used to it in no time. This year will bring lots of changes, probably the most changes that you will experience ever at this point in your life- you experience real heart break. Your two year relationships ends but don't worry you fall in love again and fast- but know that he is still not the one, even though you think he is for another 2 years. At the age of 18 you become first time aunt to a nephew! You will also begin working at a Preschool have fun! You will love working with the little ones!

Age 20: Your boyfriend of 2 years will break up with you this year. It is okay because remember he is not "the one" Pick yourself up and try not to get too crazy while beginning your newly single life! You will enjoy many weekends in Bowling Green visiting your best friend at Western!

Age 21: You will get a job at UPS, welcome to 3rd shift sister! This will pay for your tuition, even though at this point you are wanting to give up on college, hang in there! It will all pay off I swear!! Your first day on the job even though you are not looking for a relationship you meet your husband. Your first thought when you met him is that he needed a haircut & to shave that face! You actually told him that and to your disbelief he does it within the first week of knowing him! Enjoy all the time you all spend together this first year while you all work the same shift. He will be working a different shift from you after the first year and a half of dating.

Age 23: You are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel with your college career! Congrats! This year will bring many exciting things! This is your "golden" year and it is. You will get engaged to a man who has became your best friend and your rock over the years along with that you finish school with your bachelors!

Age 24: You will enjoy your last 8 months in your parents house! Savor each moment! Don't get mad at your mom over wedding plans and getting stressed out! This is an exciting time! Your wedding & reception was beautiful! Enjoy being a first time homebuyer & newlywed! :) Count your blessings! You are a lucky girl! :)
